The Santa Barbara Young Professionals Club is managed by a talented team of men and women from our local community. The Executive Committee members are responsible for planning regularly scheduled luncheons, inviting interesting guest speakers to our events, organizing special events and fundraising activities in addition to managing all the other tasks necessary to insure the continued success of our club.

Jeramy Gordon · President Jeramy Gordon is the founder, owner and publisher of the Santa Barbara Daily Sound, a free daily newspaper serving the greater Santa Barbara area. Jeramy founded the Daily Sound in 2006 with 2 employees and a circulation of 2,500. Less than two years later, the Daily Sound boasts 10 full-time and 11 part-time employees and a readership of more than 20,000 people a day. Jeramy's hobbies include, watching movies -- both new and old -- traveling around the world, triathlon training, and learning about wine. contact me |

Yeni T Anaya · Vice President Yeni is a Los Angeles native who moved to Santa Barbara to attend the University of California. After majoring in Business Economics with Emphasis in Accounting, she joined Nasif, Hicks, Harris & Co., LLP as an accountant and is currently pursuing her CPA license. She enjoys salsa dancing, spending time with friends and family, and reading a good book under the Santa Barbara sun. contact me |

Tyler Dobson · Corporate Liason Tyler Dobson is a graduate from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics and an Emphasis in Accounting. Since graduating, Tyler has been working in commercial banking and is currently a VP/Commercial Banking Officer at Rabobank, N.A. In his position, Tyler specializes in all aspects of commercial lending from commercial real estate, and interest rate hedging products, to business lines of credit,acquisition loans, and term financing. In his position at the Bank, Tyler further assists the community in his efforts to bring Bank involvement to such community organization as the Chamber of Commerce, Santa Barbara Rotary Club, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the American Heart Association, the Unity Shoppe and several other small foundations and charitable organizations through sponsorships and high levels of volunteer support. Outside of the Ambassador Council, Tyler is also currently actively involved with the Santa Barbara Contractors Association where he served as a Judge on the Panel of Judges for the Builder of the Year Awards, Volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Volunteer for the American Red Cross, and current Member of the Santa Barbara County Chapter of the Risk Management Association. contact me |

Mehgan Fay · Membership Director Mehgan is a graduate of UCSB with a degree in Political Science. She has been in Santa Barbara for about 9 years. She is the Development Director for Ensemble Theatre Company and is responsible for all fundraising and special events. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and joined the SBYPC after 5 years of membership. Previously, she was the local District Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Last year, she one of the Pacific Coast Business Times Top 40 under 40. Favorite activities include soccer, cooking at home and enjoying Santa Barbara. contact me |

Jessica Rea · Public Relations Coordinator Jessica Rea joined Santa Barbara Axxess in March of 2008 as their Client Relations Manager. In her position, she focuses on creating added value for Axxess merchants and members, oversees fundraising, and community outreach projects for Axxess. In addition, Jessica is also involved in sales and marketing as well as design and production. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, she majored in Global Studies and after earning her degree spent seven months living and traveling throughout South America. Jessica is an Ambassador for the Goleta Chamber of Commerce and is also a member of United Way’s Young Leadership Society. contact me |

Paige J Reid · Events Director Originally from Pasadena, Paige moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB. Throughout college, it became evident that her interests lay within the social sphere and the direct involvement with people. After graduating in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Women’s Studies, she began her career with the UCSB Conference Services Department, where she worked with summer groups. From here, she moved on to continue working in the meetings and event planning industry as Catering Manager at Fess Parker’s Doubletree Resort. Now, as Senior Catering Manager, she enjoys planning meetings, social events and weddings. Working with clients under sometimes stressful and emotional conditions for the past five years has honed her skills at problem solving and maintaining a relaxed demeanor. For fun, Paige enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, sailing, hosting parties & shopping. As part of the SBYPC Events Team, she handles the mixers, speaker series, member benefit events & special events like our Holiday Gala. Jon Standring · Technical Services Coordinator Jon graduated from UCSB with a degree in Communication and has been in Santa Barbara since 2003. Currently he is an Agent with Orion Realty Group, the exclusive real estate brokerage for Fidelity National Financial (FNF) and the Fortune 500 Company’s subsidiaries across the United States. Specializing in office and retail leasing, Jon is responsible for various types of real estate transactions in all phases of the negotiation including market data and trends, site selection, contract interpretation, and financial analysis. contact me |

Nich Ulrich · Non-Profit Liaison Nick has resided Santa Barbara since 1999. He is a currently student at UCSB, majoring in Studio Art with an emphasis on spacial design. Nick is a successful professional experienced with seven years of achievements in the hospitality/food service industry. He enjoys cooking, cycling, tennis, and fitness. Nick has worked with such charities as Nourish the Children, Rotaract Santa Barbara, and the Santa Barbara Food Bank. As part of the SBYPC team, Nick coordinates the non-profit and charity relations, and sets up volunteering opportunities for members. contact me |

Sam Sosa · Past President Sam is a banker at Wells Fargo. Sam also has 6 years of Real Estate experience in Santa Barbara. He has worked as a Retail Buyer for May Company in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. He has served on the Board for SBYPC since early 2005 where he has held posts as Membership Director, and Coordinator for both Special Events and Corporate Liaison Committees. Sam was also President for 3 and a half years. In addition to serving on the Board, Sam has worked with charities such as The Avon Breast Cancer Walk, The Alliance for Creative Commerce, The Santa Barbara Book Festival, the Unity Shoppe and he now serves on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara. Sam received BA's in both Economics and Psychology from UCLA. contact me |
